What is WDR?
WDR is the abbreviation of Wide Dynamic Range. Wide dynamic range is simply the scene particularly bright and extremely dark parts of the site at the same time can be clearly seen. It is the ratio of the image can distinguish the brightest luminance signal value and can distinguish between the darkest light signal value. To maintain optimum detail in both the shadows and highlights of the image, WDR enable digitally adjust exposure in area of the frame.
WDR are need in light and shade contrast scenes and backlight.
